It is recommended that all gas appliances are serviced at least once a year by a competent, Gas Safe registered engineer to confirm they are safe to use and in good working condition.

Faulty or poorly maintained gas appliances can produce carbon monoxide, which is a tasteless, odourless gas and can cause death or serious health problems.

A boiler service will highlight any safety issues or defects, and also identify anything which may soon become a problem.

Also all manufacturers insist on new appliances being serviced each year for them to honour any guarantees.

At Lynx Technical Services we carry out all annual gas appliance servicing in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. We are passionate about gas safety, so if we see a problem you can rest assured we will highlight this to you and take appropriate action. We have over 25 years experience in the gas industry and regularly attend manufacturer courses to keep up to date with training.

 

A typical gas appliance service would involve the following:


                                                            0    Gas pressure and flow checks to ensure to appliance & installation pipework is safe and operating efficiently.

                                                            0    Flue & ventilation checks to confirm a safe installation.

                                                            0    Appliance checks, tests and service instructions required by the manufacturer.

                                                            0    Visual checks to confirm correct installation and highlight any defects you may have.

                                                            0    Completion of a service certificate for your records.
